Good servers never store your password β only its scrambled fingerprint (a hash). The blender works ONE WAY: you can't un-blend a smoothie back into fruit! Type anything:
π€― Try "banana" then "Banana" β change ONE letter and the whole fingerprint changes! That's a real SHA-256 hash, the same family of maths guarding real banks. Even thieves who steal a server's files only find fingerprints β never passwords.
